It was hard to find, but well worth the driving! Sweet Georgia yarns are beautiful, with a very smooth hand and a lovely finish. Saturated colors make them the perfect choice for any project. I just love this yarn!

The exact colour I wanted and it arrived within 4 days of ordering. I have finished the gauge swatch and got guage for the pattern that used this yarn. However I am now in Tahiti so not attempting any DK knitting. It awaits my return.

As a color obsessed knitter, I adore the huge range of colors and all the new colors of Tough Love Sock. By now I have a stash of about 18 colors. I've done a Fair Isle vest using 12 colors and it is beautiful and won first prize in the colorways section of a local knitters' guild contest. The only drawback is that since it is superwash, the steeking was hard to do correctly and I had to cover the fold over edging with bias tape to ensure that it would not shred. If I did not have such a big stash, I would switch to Trifecta Fine so that it could felt, but I just have too much!

Construction took a few minutes to put together. I haven’t mounted it on the wall yet so I’m using it on a table. It’s a good quality wood and the dowels are very sturdy. My first warp went well and the yarn was in order. Very happy with this purchase.

Felicia from Sweet Georgia recommended this winder over a hand bobbin winder and I can see why. It winds the bobbin smoothly and easily using the foot control. I was having so much fun I filled 6 bobbins in no time.

Very nice quality wood construction. Easy to replace bobbin and the 9 inch size works good in my hands. I like the open bottom to wind back the yarn and the light weight of this shuttle. I’ve also ordered the double boat shuttle so that will be fun to try out.

I’m new to weaving and did some homework on the different table looms. I was going to get a 4 shaft loom but for the minimal price difference for the 8 shaft and more weaving options for the future I decided on the 8 shaft Ashford 24 inch.

I watched a few YouTube videos on setup, and printed the directions. My husband and I followed step by step and finished it within a few hours. Once you build the loom yourself it familiarizes yourself with all the mechanics of the loom. I purchased extra heddles and put 120 on the first 4 shafts. I’m not using the other four shafts yet so I didn’t put heddles on them. It’s easy enough to remove and add them later. It’s a dream to weave on this loom. It’s so quiet using the levers to raise the shafts. I followed along the Ashford warping videos and dressed the loom back to front. I took my time and it went well. I used a simple first project to sample the 8/4 cotton from Sweet Georgia and very happy with the outcome. I also enrolled in the School of Sweet Georgia weaving classes. They are fun to follow and learn all about weaving.

The customer service at Sweet Georgia is the best. I find the staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. When I order online, the products arrive in a timely manner. My most recent purchase was “ The Spinner’s Blending Board Bible”.

I have not woven the towels yet but I love the pattern. I will send you pictures when I get them done .
