Felicia's ideal combination of fibres, our new SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fibre starts with a base of untreated Bluefaced Leicester wool. BFL is soft and glossy, elastic and warm. BFL fibre is also strong and more hardwearing than finer wools. The texture is not springy or spongy, but instead it’s almost sleek.
The next fibre is a soft, fine, mohair that is not a fuzzy mohair, but a smooth and strong mohair. Mohair fibre is very hardwearing while it is also shiny and takes dye in an amazingly vibrant way.
Finally, adding silk makes everything beautiful, shimmery, and also strong.
These three fibres come together in a fabulous blend that works beautifully for spinning socks along with a range of other projects.
