Hat Pattern for a Mid-Gauge Knitting Machine // Design by Barb Barone

The Rundle Park Ribbed Hat is knit flat, with a 2×2 ribbed brim (created by turning knit stitches into purl stitches) followed by stockinette. Changing colours adds stripes and a pop of fun, and after a few simple decreases, use a mattress seam to seam the hat together. Experiment with gradient, handspun, or striped yarns, or try holding two lightweight strands together for a hat that's truly one-of-a-kind!

This pattern is free for School of SweetGeorgia members.
