Designed to explore asymmetric plaids, the Picnic Plaid napkins pattern creates four soft and generous napkins, perfect for a breezy meal al fresco. This pattern is ideal for colour play and stash busting.

- each napkin: 16 ½" / 42 cm wide x 18" /46 cm long, including ¼" / 0.5 cm of fringe per end
YARN
- Warp and Weft: 4 cones Gist 8/2 Beam (1680 yd / 1536 m per 8 oz / 227 g cone; 3360 ypp / 6766 mpkg; 100% Unmercerized Organic Cotton), one cone each in: Cobalt (A), Jam (B), Pistachio (C), Mist (D)
EQUIPMENT & TOOLS
- Loom: 4-shaft loom with a minimum 21" / 53 cm weaving width
- Tools: 10-dent reed (sleyed 2 threads per dent), boat shuttle with 4 bobbins.
STRUCTURE
- Weave Structure: twill
- Warp Length: 3 ⅓ yd / 3 m (this includes 27" / 68.5 cm of loom waste, with 10" / 25 cm for take-up)
- Warp Ends: 400 ends, includes 2 floating selvedges
- Warp Sett: 20 epi / 8 epcm
- Weft Sett: 20 epi / 8 epcm
- Width in Reed: 20 ¼" / 51.5 cm
- Woven Length: weave 20 ½" / 52 cm for each of four napkin = 82" / 208 cm total length
