I am having so much fun making this slouch hat! My friend has cancer and has had to cut her hair really short! So I'm making this for her in a light weight wool. I think it will turn out really nice.

I am new to Tapestry work and I have never used a tapestry fork or beater. I purchased the Schacht Duet beater and I love it. The tins are smooth and glide smoothly through the weft, they are interchangeable and I imagine for those that are more experienced it is a really good thing. It is not heavy and it fits nicely in my hand.

Beautiful fiber! I can’t wait to spin this. Im new to spinning and I think this is foing to be a dream to spin.

Soft and light, knits up like a dream.

I thought it was great as I had purchase a box set of yarn but decided to use the yarn for something other than making a hat. I needed 135 and 140 yards of 2 colors so the 105 yard skeins were a bit short. The 52 yards of the micro skeins were just perfect. I already knew I liked the yarn.
