A perfect blend of warmth and strength to make a hardwearing sock yarn that can stand up to your affection and abuse. Tough Love Sock is our best-selling yarn and knits up beautifully into fine-gauge sweaters, small shawls, as well as socks! Spun from 80% superwash and super soft merino and 20% nylon, this 3-ply yarn is so versatile, knit it firmly for hard wearing socks, knit it loosely for drapey shawls or knit it doubled for a great worsted weight substitute.

Suggested gauge for sock knitting: US 0-1 (2-2.25mm) | 8 sts/1"

Great company to do business with.

The yarn is an excellent product, but even better is the customer service. I had an issue with a discount which was resolved to my satisfaction. They really care about customer satisfaction. I highly recommend doing business with Sweet Georgia Yarns.

Great sock wool

This is now the only sock wool I use. Lovely to work with and wears well.

Socktober Sensation in “Arbutus”

Just finished my first pair ever…and I'm addicted enough to have started another pair in “Atlantis”. Colours are rich and smooth.

For your Feet!

Disclaimer: I have used this for more than just my feet. I used it, actually, in a shawl...

...but all YOU need to know is that this is a very versatile yarn and very strong. I'm using it for a pair of socks right now and LOVING IT. It doesn't split, it comes in so many gorgeous colours, it's soft, it's strong . . .

My only recommendation is that you wash your darker/more vibrant skeins before you make any colourwork projects. But SG does an excellent job at dying these; there would be very few cases of actual bleeding into other yarns. At least, that's my feeling.

Anyways go buy some now. Your stash needs it.
