Classic lace in a well-loved shawl shape doesn't get any lovelier than this. Eyelets in diamonds travel across the fabric, wandering in simple columns framed by stockinette stitch. Heathered Sunset is perfect for the new lace knitter—this is an accessory that will see year-round wear.

• yarn: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock in Magician (425 yd / 385 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% easy-care merino wool, 20% nylon)

• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 24" / 60 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 18 sts and 31 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Swatch pattern, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 44 ½“ / 113 cm wingspan
  25 ½” / 65 cm center length from back neck
