• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 24" / 60 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 18 sts and 31 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Swatch pattern, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 44 _" / 113 cm wingspan x 22 _" / 65 cm centre length from back neck
