SEPTEMBER 2026 // BIRD OF PARADISE
This month’s colourway is bursting with vibrant, vivid hues that remind me of tropical fruits and flowers. Fuchsias, hibiscus, and of course, Bird of Paradise. Imagine it’s September and we just aren’t ready to let go of summertime fun.
You might notice that the yarn is more flecked and not completely dyed through. This is simply because bamboo is a cellulose/plant fibre that does not absorb the dyes that we use for wool. So the colourway produces an interesting effect with the haze of the bamboo fibre.
The September Box Includes:
- One skein SweetGeorgia Bamboo Sock (70% easy-care 22.5 micron merino, 20% bamboo, 10% nylon, 410 yards / 374 m per 100g skein)
- A colour inspiration story and a guide to project ideas designed to showcase the unique qualities of this month's yarn
- A faux leather "Made with Love" patch for your knitting and crochet projects
