In a design that is reminiscent of rabbit tracks running through a winter forest, plaited cables are interspersed with delicate lace insets in this warm and cozy cowl. It's the perfect last-minute, one-skein gift.

• DK-weight version: 22” / 56 cm circumference, unstretched, 6 ½“ / 16.5 cm width
• Worsted-weight version: 23” / 58.4 cm circumference, unstretched, 8” / 20.3 cm width

YARN

• DK-weight version: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Superwash DK in Buttercup (256 yds / 235 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino Wool)
  — OR —
• Worsted-weight version: 1 SweetGeorgia Double Sock Blank in Summer at the Lake (425 yds / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g sock blank; 80% Merino Superwash, 20% Nylon) with two strands held double (available for a limited time)

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• DK-weight version: US 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles
• Worsted-weight version: US 8 (5 mm) 16” circular needles Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge. Stitch marker, cable needle, yarn needle.

GAUGE

• DK-weight version: 26 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Cable patt, after blocking.
• Worsted-weight version: 22 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Cable patt, after blocking.

Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements.
