Yua, which is Japanese for “bound by love and affection”, is a reversible cowl with staghorn cables worked in ribbing with garter stitch for contrast and a double-knit band for a neat edge. Wear this cowl once around your neck as a knitted statement or twice for warmth.

yarn: 3 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino Worsted in Huckleberry (200 yds / 182m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)

needles: Size 7 US / 4.5 mm circular needles
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge -
gauge: 20 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in st stitch, unstretched, after blocking
Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements. - finished measurements: 8 ¼" / 21 cm wide x 49 ½" / 126 cm long
