  5 mini skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Whisper (CC 1-5) (1 set of Party of Five, ~525 yd / 480 m per bag; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
• hooks: Size 7 US / 4.5 mm crochet hook
  Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 16 sts and 8 rows = 4" / 10 cm in dc stitch, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
