Soft and graceful, this open cardigan is long, light, and perfect for the spring wardrobe. An easy lace decorates the hem and front bodice while the silhouette flows in the early spring breeze.

• yarn: 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins SweetGeorgia Flaxen Silk Fine each in Desert Clay (480 yd / 439 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 65% silk, 35% linen)
• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm needles
  Size 7 US / 4.5 mm needles
  Size 7 US / 4.5 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm long and 16" / 40 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm in st stitch, with larger needles, after blocking
• finished measurements: Bust Circumference (seamed): 34 3/4 (39 1/4, 42 3/4, 47 1/4, 50 3/4, 54 1/4, 58, 63 1/4, 66)” / 88.5 (99.5, 108.5, 120, 129, 138, 147.5,160.5,167.5) cm

  Choose the size that is approx. 4” / 11 cm larger than your actual bust circumference. Sample size shown is 42 ¼” / 107.5 cm.

• pattern notes: This cardigan is worked flat in pieces and then seamed. The final edging is worked by picking up stitches all the way around the fronts, neck, and armholes with a circular needle.
