My kids introduced me to the idea of “golden birthdays” or “champagne birthdays”where your birthday age falls on the same day as your birthday day.

This was our chance to bring in a new-to-us spinning fibre with glow of silk! It’s just a bit of fun. The high silk content of this blend makes the whole fibre shine and shimmer. We often have 10% or even 20% silk in our blends, but bumping it up to 50% makes it so shiny!
