Seaswell

Seaswell is a fitted, ballet-neck cardigan that features an all-over simple lace pattern, set-in sleeves with deep lace cuffs, and English tailored shoulders. The cardigan is constructed flat, from the bottom up, in one piece to the armholes where it is divided into fronts and back which are worked separately. Waist shaping is achieved easily just by changing needle size.

• yarn: 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns BFL Sock in Mulberry (400 yd / 365 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Wool, 20% Nylon)
• needles: One of each size 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3 US / 2.5, 2.75, 3, 3.25 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 26 sts and 35 rows = 4" / 10 cm in St st using 3 US / 3.25 mm needles
  24 sts and 36 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Seaswell pattern using 3 US / 3.25 mm needles after blocking
  For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge.
