Quiet Morning Set

A Two-Colour Hat + Mittens // Design by Paula Niskasaari

Rich and soft, textural and colourful, the Quiet Morning hat and mitten set is like a walk in the forest, early in the morning when the world is still asleep. Worked in our Superwash Worsted, the cable and colours come out quick as a wink, promising cozy warmth in time for autumn.

• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino Worsted, 1 each in Pine Tree (MC) and Cayenne (CC) (200 yd / 183 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)
• needles: Size 7 US / 4.5 mm dpns or circular needles, if preferred
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 24 sts and 24 rnds = 4" / 10 cm in Rib stitch, after blocking
• finished measurements:

  Hat body circumference: 16 ¾ (19, 21)“ / 42.5 (48.5, 53.5) cm
  Hat height: 9 (10, 11 )” / 23 (25.5, 28) cm
  Stretched to fit a head circumference: 21 ¼ (23 ¼, 25 ¼)“ / (54 (59, 64) cm
  Hand circumference: 7 ½ (8 ¼)” / 19 (21) cm
  Mitt length: 8 ¼ (9 ¼)“ / 21 (23.5) cm
  Intended to fit tightly.
