• yarn: 5 mini skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in English Bay (1 set of Party of Five, ~525 yd / 480 m per bag; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
• hooks: Size H-8 US / 5 mm crochet hook
  Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 22 sts and 8 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Diamond stitch, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 21" / 55.25 cm, circumference and 9" / 23 cm deep
