We love Corriedale wool. It is a wool that is strong enough to withstand use as a sock yarn and outerwear, yet soft enough to wear around your neck or face. And it pills less than other wools, helping finished projects look beautiful for years to come.

Corriedale Sock Yarn
In the spirit of the Fire Horse, we wanted to challenge ourselves by using a new-to-us yarn base. We wanted versatility in how it could be used. The twist creates a durable yarn that works well for socks or outerwear, while remaining smooth and soft for shawls and hats. It is also a non-superwash wool, making it perfect for colourwork projects, especially mittens and sweaters.
