Hues in a decadent gradient are like a balm to the winter blues. Add in a little texture, a bit of skill-building, and a familiar shape, and you have the makings of a shawl that brings delight from beginning to wearing.

• yarn: 1 SweetGeorgia Yarns Sock Yarn Blank (425 yards / 388 m per 4 oz / 115g blank; 80% Superwash Merino Wool, 20% Nylon)
• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Body pattern, in the round, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 56 _" / 143.5 cm x 17" / 43 cm
