Cider & Fire // a diamond-shaped blanket
Lace and garter stitch shift, flow, ripple, and move throughout this multi-colour lap (or baby) blanket. Cider & Fire is worked from corner-to-corner, the diamond shape is beautifully enhanced with a textured two-stranded construction and strong diagonal lines.
- yarn: 1 SweetGeorgia Yarns Midnight Embers Kit (Fingering-weight; 985 yd / 900 m per 9 oz / 264 g set, 82 yd / 75 m per .75 oz / 22 g mini skin; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)

needles: Size 9 US / 5.5 mm circular needles, 24" / 60 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. -
gauge: 12 sts and 23 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Increase pattern, with two strands held together, pinned out and fully stretched, after blocking
Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements. - finished measurements: 28" / 71 cm width and height
