A Sideways Shawl // Design by Jen Lucas
This shawl combines an asymmetrical shawl shape with a fun elongated-garter stitch pattern that is super-easy to memorize. Worked on a slight bias, it enables you to utilize your yarn to the max.
- yarn: 4 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash Soft in Ginger (109 yds / 100 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)

needles: Size 10 US / 6 mm circular needles, 24" / 60 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. -
gauge: 12 sts and 24 rows = 4" / 10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size. - finished measurements: 20" / 51 cm at the deepest point x 82" / 208.5 cm wingspan
