Sail Shawl // an asymmetrical shawl by SweetGeorgia

With a simple, modern construction, this gently asymmetrical shawl evokes the nautical lifestyle so prevalent here in the Pacific Northwest. The entire shawl is worked with knit stitches only, making for an easy, relaxing project. Pick your favourite colours and watch the colour blocks come to life.

• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Tough Love Sock, 1 each in Wisteria (Colour A) and London Fog (Colour B) (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% easy-care merino, 20% nylon)
  1 skein SweetGeorgia CashLuxe Spark in Grapefruit (208 yd / 190 m per 2 oz / 60 g skein; 80% easy-care merino, 10% cashmere, 10% silver stellina)
• needles: Size 6 US / 4.0 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm or longer
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge
• gauge: 22 sts and 40 rows = 4" / 10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size
• finished measurements: Width 63" / 160 cm at top edge
  Height: 19 ½" / 50 cm at centre spine
