yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Apple Pie (425 yd / 385 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon)
2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Silk Mist in Silver (325 yds / 297 m per 0.88 oz / 25 g skein; 60% Fine Kid Mohair, 40% Cultivated Silk).
Note: if you are making the small sizes of the hat and the cowl, only 1 skein of each yarn is needed for the set. -
needles: Size 3 US /3.25 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. -
gauge: 26 sts and 28 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Cable Pattern, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size. -
