  • Warp and Weft: 4 cones Gist 8/2 Beam (1680 yd / 1536 m per 8 oz / 227 g cone; 3360 ypp / 6766 mpkg; 100% unmercerized organic cotton), one cone each in: Cobalt (A), Jam (B), Pistachio (C), Mist (D)
Equipment & Tools
  • Loom: 4-shaft loom with a minimum 21" / 53 cm weaving width
  • Tools: 10-dent reed (sleyed 2 threads per dent), boat shuttle with 4 bobbins.
Structure
  • Weave Structure: twill
  • Warp Length: 3 ⅓ yd / 3 m (this includes 27" / 68.5 cm of loom waste, with 10" / 25 cm for take-up)
  • Warp Ends: 400 ends, includes 2 floating selvedges
  • Warp Sett: 20 epi / 8 epcm
  • Weft Sett: 20 epi / 8 epcm
  • Width in Reed: 20 ¼" / 51.5 cm
  • Woven Length: weave  20 ½" / 52 cm for each of four napkin = 82" / 208 cm total length
Finished Measurements
