The waffle weave structure, in combination with the yarn, results in a thick, warm fabric with a lovely drape that is soft and silky against the skin, perfect for a scarf.

- Warp: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine, 1 each in Gemini (C1) and Helios (C2) (370 yd / 338 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 75% bluefaced leicester, 15% mohair, 10% silk)
- Weft: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine in Equinox (C3) (370 yd / 338 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 75% bluefaced leicester, 15% mohair, 10% silk)
Equipment & Tools
- Loom : rigid heddle loom with a minimum 8" / 20.3 cm weaving width
- Tools: 12.5-dent reed boat shuttle with 1 bobbin, 1 pick-up stick

- Weave Structure: waffle weave
- Warp Length: 2 ⅞ yd / 2.56 m (this includes 18" / 45.7 cm of loom waste which includes 4" / 10 cm fringe, and 13 ½" / 34.3 cm shrinkage and take-up)
- Warp Ends: 113 ends
- Warp Sett: 15.75 epi / 6.2 epcm
- Weft Sett: 14 epi / 6 epcm
- Width in Reed: 7 ⅛" / 18 cm
- Woven Length: 82" / 208 cm
Finished Measurements
- Width: 5 ½″ / 14 cm after wet finishing; approx. 23% reduction in width
- Length: 68 ½″ / 184.2 cm, plus 2" / 5 cm fringe per end, after wet finishing; approx. 17% reduction in length
