BFL+Silk Spinning Fibre
Bluefaced Leicester 75% and Tussah Silk 25% blended together for a very lustrous and luxurious top. BFL is one of the softest, glossiest medium-long wools (longer fibre staple length), and naturally more durable, making it a favourite spinning fibre for many. The glittery tussah silk in this blend adds to the softness and shine, making this an indulgence to spin.
To care for this fibre blend, wash finished projects by hand in cool to warm water and lay flat to dry. Hand-dyed in professional acid dyes for excellent colourfastness.

Excellent fibre and service
I placed an order for two of the Trifecta and Two of the BFL+Silk, but I received all four colourways in the Trifecta. Not a terrible thing but not my intended order. 😊 I can’t review this fibre until I try my purchase again one day!
A joy to spin. How the BFL and silk take up the dye is stunning. I ordered 4 different colourways and the colours in each one have a lovely depth, richness and vibrancy to them. An absolute pleasure to work with. In addition, the care and attention you have given to keeping the fibre in the braid neat and tidy is very much appreciated. Not always an easy task when dealing with hand painting braids.
This fibre is so pretty! The shine is gorgeous. The braid does require a bit of prep as it is a little bit dense and thus the four stars. I tried the method suggested on the website: drawing a section of the braid through carding brushes. It worked great. Once prepped, the fibre was very easy to spin to the size I wanted.
So perfect for my project and oh so Beautiful!!
