The 'hand' of the wool is generous, cosy, and it has integrity - feels very durable. Colour is consistent, and the surface of the wool is glowing. First time for me with Sweet Georgia, I'm making a baby blanket. Haven't yet tested its "superwash" abilities, but I'm expecting it will come out beautifully. Will definitely want to explore more DK for other projects!
Exactly as I had hoped, and the colors are gorgeous!
I am having second thoughts about using superwash wool for this project, as I have heard that over time the wool starts to sag and that while it will reshape once you wash it, over time that also may be a problem.
Superwash DK
Just finishing up a 4 colour shawl with this yarn. It’s gorgeous with great stitch definition. The yarn is not at all splitty and each generous skein is more than the advertised 115 grams, with no knots. Beautiful colours, too.
