Soft-edged leaves of lace paired with simple ridges of garter stitch make for an amazing fabric for a hat and scarf set. Luxuriously oversized and worked in DK-weight yarn, you're ready for winter weather all day long.

• yarn: Hat: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Merino DK in Cayenne (CC) (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)
  Scarf: 3 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino DK in Cayenne (CC) (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)
• needles: Size 6 US / 4 mm circular needles, 16"/ 40 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 20 sts and 32 rounds = 4" / 10 cm in Log Stitch worked flat, after blocking
• finished measurements: Hat: 17 ½ (19 1⁄4, 20 ¾)“ / 44.5 (49, 52.5) cm circumference, 8 ¼” / 21 cm height
  A negative ease of 1-2” / 2.5-5 cm is recommended.
