Dusk Settles

When dusk settles over the winter landscape, wrapping up in a decadent, soft shawl is the epitome of "soothing". Beautiful openwork and soft texture promises a piece that entertains the crocheter, but it's the end result that enchants for all time.

• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Mohair Silk Sock in Marine (437 yd / 400 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 50% easy-care merino wool, 20% nylon, 15% kid mohair, 15% silk)
• hooks: Size H-8 US / 5 mm crochet hook
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 20 sts and 7 rows = 4" / 10 cm in pattern, after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 67 ½“ / 171.5 cm wide, 17 ¼” / 44 cm deep from peak to valley
