• yarn: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns Superwash DK in Saffron (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% superwash merino) or 1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock in Botanical (425 yd / 385 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon), held double
• needles: Size 7 US / 4.5 mm circular needles, 16" / 40 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 6.5 sts and 8 rows = 4" / 10 cm in cable and lace pattern, relaxed after blocking
  For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge.
• finished measurements: Body length: 8.5" / 21.5 cm
  Brim circumference, unstretched: 16" / 40.5 cm
