The Barbara cowl is knit flat to allow you to try on your cowl as you knit to get the best length for your height and body type. It showcases the subtleness of hand-dyed yarn and is a satisfying knit perfect for a beginner and beyond. Barbara is sure to be a "go-to" cowl in your wardrobe.

• yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Trifecta Fine (370 yards / 338 m per 3.5 oz / 100g skein; 1691 ypp / 3380 mpkg; 75% Bluefaced Leicester, 15% Mohair, 10% Silk) in Stormy Night.
• needles: Size 6 US / 5.5 mm needles
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 17 sts and 22 rows = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch
  28 sts and 16 rows - 4" / 10 cm in pattern
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.

• finished measurements: 63" / 160 cm long, before seaming
  5 ½" / 14 cm wide
