Crescent Shawl With Lace And Beads // Design By Anniken Allis

This gorgeous crescent shawl begins with a wide lace border. The crescent shape is achieved by working a combination of short rows and decreases. Beads add a bit of luxurious bling but are completely optional. The stitch pattern is mirrored either side of the centre line.

• yarn: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Yarns Merino Silk Lace in Ultraviolet (765 yd / 700 m per 3.5 oz / 100 g skein; 50% Fine Merino Wool, 50% Silk)
• needles: Size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm long
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 16 sts and 23 rows = 4" / 10 cm in lace pattern after blocking
  Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
• finished measurements: 79" / 200 cm x 22.5" / 57 cm
