This gorgeous openwork shrug, oversized and scrumptious, is the perfect layering piece for your summery tops and strappy dresses. Seafoam lace, worked by simply dropping stitches, is a wonderfully easy pattern for every level of knitter, with results that make heads turn.

• yarn: 3 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino DK in Muslin (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)
• needles: Size US 8 US / 5 mm needles in 16" / 40 cm long
  Size US 7 US / 4.5 mm needles in 24" / 60 cm long
  Size US 7 US / 4.5 mm needles in DPNs
  Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
• gauge: 14 sts and 15 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Seafood pattern, after blocking
  For accurate sizing, always take time to check finished gauge.
• finished measurements: 37 ¾“ / 96 cm cuff to cuff
  31 ¼” / 79.5 cm neck to hem
