A lovely clover lace pattern is the basis for a slouchy beret-style hat. Its easy lace pattern makes for a very simple and elegant one-skein gift.

  • DK-weight version: 22” / 56 cm circumference, unstretched, 6 ½“ / 16.5 cm width
  • Worsted-weight version: 23” / 58.4 cm circumference, unstretched, 8” / 20.3 cm width

YARN

  • Aran-weight version*: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Merino Silk Aran *discontinued (50% silk, 50% merino; 185 yd / 100 g) in Ultraviolet
  • Worsted-weight version: 1 skein SweetGeorgia Merino Worsted (100% easy-care merino; 200 yd / 115 g) in Saffron

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

  • US 7 and 8 (4.5 mm and 5 mm) 16” circular needles
    Adjust needle size if necessary, to obtain the correct gauge. Stitch marker, cable needle, yarn needle.

GAUGE

  • 4.5 sts per inch using larger needles
    Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements.
