Coast to Colour Shawl

A Triangular Crochet Shawl // Design by Charlotte Lee

Coast into colour with this top-down, triangular, granny-square shawl. Featuring a simple one-row repeat, you can switch colours for a gradient or striped shawl, or keep it classic with a single colourway!

Yarn:

• 1 SweetGeorgia Sock Yarn Blank in Frozen Blueberry (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g sock blank; 80% easy-care merino, 20% nylon)
• 1 mini-skein set SweetGeorgia Party of Five Superwash DK in Delano (CC1-5) (~525 yd / 480 m per set; 80% easy-care merino, 20% nylon). Also shown in Blazing Trails.
• 2 mini-skein sets SweetGeorgia Party of Five Superwash DK, 1 each in Fruit Salad and Garden Party (CC1-10) (~525 yd / 480 m per set; 80% easy-care merino, 20% nylon)
  

Hooks:

• Size 8-H US / 5 mm crochet hook for DK weight yarns
• 4-E US / 3.5 mm crochet hook for fingering weight yarns
• Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge
  

Gauge:

• DK Weight 11 dc and 3 ch = 4" / 10 cm in pattern, after blocking, relaxed and unpinned when dry
• Fingering Weight: 16 dc and 5 ch = 4" / 10 cm in pattern, after blocking, relaxed and unpinned when dry
• Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.

Finished Measurements:

• 63" / 160 cm wingspan & 42" / 107 cm shorter sides
