Tough Love Sock

As a color obsessed knitter, I adore the huge range of colors and all the new colors of Tough Love Sock. By now I have a stash of about 18 colors. I've done a Fair Isle vest using 12 colors and it is beautiful and won first prize in the colorways section of a local knitters' guild contest. The only drawback is that since it is superwash, the steeking was hard to do correctly and I had to cover the fold over edging with bias tape to ensure that it would not shred. If I did not have such a big stash, I would switch to Trifecta Fine so that it could felt, but I just have too much!

Searched for the perfect colour for my husband's socks, and it had to be "perfect team colours" I was instructed. With all the colour selection available at sweet georgia I not only found that one elusive colour but the other two as well. So pleased with this purchase, and coming back for more, much more.... 😉

I've used Tough Love sock for as long as I can remember. I don't just use it for socks, but for shawls, cowls, wraps etc too. I use my 2.5 mm flexi flips when working with this wool. The dyes are luscious. A joy for the hands to work with. Works well with cable too. My go-to wool. Online shopping with sweetgeorgia is always without a hitch. Questions are answered promptly too.
