Overshot Sampler Kit / Cool

The Weaving Overshot on 4-Shafts sampler kit has everything you need to start weaving this beautiful block-weave structure. Weaving Overshot is a fascinating way to create a wide variety of patterns, using compound weaves with supplementary wefts. Overshot has historically been used for coverlets but now can be found on pillows, upholstery, scarves and more. 

The yarn in these kits, along with the Sampler PDF, and the Weaving Overshot on 4-Shafts Workbook PDF has everything you need to weave the in-course sampler project. Both PDFs can be found on the first lesson, 0.1 Weaving Overshot Materials page.

The kit includes one cone of Ashford 10/2 Mercerized Cotton for the warp and weft (ground) colour. It also includes four cones of Ashford 5/2 Mercerized Cotton for the weft (pattern) to weave the sampler found in the Weaving Overshot on 4-Shafts course.
