- yarn: 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Merino DK in Dreamboat (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% easy-care merino)

needles: 2 size 4 US / 3.5 mm circular needles, 32" / 80 cm each
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4" / 10 cm in pattern stitch, after blocking
Note that gauge is not crucial, but will affect required yardage and finished size.
